Last year your New Year’s Resolution might have been to lose weight or eat healthy. Before that, perhaps you thought you’d get organized. May we suggest a different angle, one that’s much more fashion friendly? How’s your closet looking? Tired and dull this winter? We propose for the year 2015, you should resolve to try a few new style trends and here are our favorites:

Groovy, Baby

Create your own mod movement this winter just like the runways of Gucci and Louis Vuitton in trapeze dresses, mini skirts, patent boots and Mary Jane flats. Pastel, chalky colors bring the sixties into full swing.

New Styles 1

Stitch It Up

If a little bit of knit is good, then a lot is even better. That’s why we saw head to toe sweater dressing all over the runways of Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs and more, for fall and beyond. Done up in wool or cotton knits, the look is super soft and either speckled or with a bit of shine.

New Style 4

Golden Opportunity

Prada, Chloe and many more showcased riches with gilded accents. From lame´ coats to patterned applique accents on dresses, gold has once again eclipsed silver as the statement making shine this season.

Winter Style 2

Blanket Statement

Folky, decorative and darn warm, the poncho made its appearance on many a fall runway including the likes of Burberry and Etro. Either hanging on the shoulders like a fun wrap or over clothing with a fur-lined hood, it’s a super chic way to stay warm this winter.

New Style 3

With these choices, keeping your New Year’s Resolution couldn’t be easier.
